Disney Week - I Wanna Be Where The Mermaids Are

Day 4 at Disney World and today we ventured into Epcot. The park was extremely crowded - probably due to the Food and Wine Festival. They were even filming an episode of The Chew while we were there. I barely captured any images this day for so many reasons but the main ones being that I was there on my own with the boys for the majority of the time and the other that it rained - SO MUCH - like almost the whole day. The theme of the day for me was The Little Mermaid (possibly my favorite Disney movie ever).  This colorful glittery tank from Glitter Ever After was perfect for my mermaid day! The bright colors popped gorgeously against the black muscle tank. I paired it with black skinny distressed jeans and my black leather superga sneakers. So sorry not to give you a full length picture - my photographer (my 11 year old son) was much more concerned with getting on rides than he was with supplying me with an abundance of photo options. Can't say I blame him!

These mouse ears from Parlor of Pretties are so fun and colorful! I absolutely loved all the bright bling and the attention to detail. Even the trim around the ears was a sparkly white sequin. They are surprisingly light too and with all the pretty colors on them they could go with anything!

These mermaid sunnies from I'm Really A Mermaid 86 are so cute! I am so in love with the pretty colors and the little shell detail on the side. You can find tons of gorgeous mermaid inspired sunglasses to choose from in this shop. There are even co-ordinating hair clips and earrings. So everything you need to accessorize your inner mermaid is all right here!

I tried so hard to capture how incredibly gorgeous this Ariel charm bracelet is in photos but I don't think they come close to doing it justice. It is jammed packed with adorable charms and so much sparkle. I got compliment after compliment about this bracelet! Would you believe it is only $12?! Beadie Bracelet has so many cute charm bracelets to choose from so even if The Little Mermaid isn't your favorite - there is definitely a charm bracelet there that is just right for you!

The boys and I ventured around the countries a bit until the rain set in and man did it set it. I was ready to give up but they convinced me to ride it out. It was like 4 hours of riding it out. We spent loads of time in the interactive exhibits. Kept the boys entertained so much longer than I expected and I think they actually learned some stuff too.

We had lunch in Japan. My kids went crazy over the spicy seafood miso ramen soup. Which surprised me - didn't have a clue they would eat that! Yay for us getting to broaden our palettes. They spent a good bit of time just watching the Koi swimming in the pond and checking out the fun candies in the Japanese gift shop. We left with a pretty large bag of them - I did share a few with them.

Probably their favorite thing we did was color bears in the countries. Each country has an area set up where you can get a bear attached to a stick to color. They have different colors at each stop that best represent the county. They also get a different stamp and item drawn on the back of their bears. They could have done this for weeks. They were so into it! They really loved how they got to have their name written in Japanese on the back of one of their bears.
