Don't let their faces fool you. This was probably my kids favorite photo excursion to date. They got to wear army jackets, play army, and climb all over a caboose. It was right up their alley. You can instantly spot their personalities in the pictures. My oldest is such a rule abiding hard worker, my 8 year old a sweetheart with an inner rebel just itching to get out, my 5 year old is always in his old world, and our little wildchild who cannot be tamed. Always amazes me how completely unique they each are!
I wanted to add a flirty, feminine feel to this oversized camo jacket so I paired it with these thigh high socks and a pop of color with an orange mini. I might have gotten carried away with the sizing on this jacket. I ordered an extra-large because I was accustomed to sizing running smaller but I totally could have gone with a medium. I don't mind the roomy jacket though - it's so comfy. The details on this jacket are so fun! The spaced themed patches on the sleeves and the rocket on the back make it super unique. It works great with jeans and a witty tee. Pairs with converse and even OTK boots. I personally believe that camo is a neutral. My biggest word of advice when wearing camo: in order to stay on the side of style and avoid the look of a hunter - never wear more than one camo piece at a time!
