DIY: Not Basic Sneakers In Only 5 Mins

│SHOES: TARGET│PATCHES: TARGET│PINS: (shop here, here, or here)│

I saw a pair of patch embellished high tops online the other day and thought - these are so cute but I could totally DIY that! I always love a good DIY and this one is probably the easiest one I have ever completed. It literally took 5 minutes and zero skill. I'm pretty sure anyone could do it, even my three year old.

I purchased these high tops from Target. They are Superga which is one of my all time favorite sneaker designers. They aren't in Target stores anymore but you can grab them online. The only other thing truly needed is a pack of these patches. The best thing about them - in addition to the extreme cuteness - is that they stick on. No iron or heat required, no need to sew: just apply like you would a sticker. This makes it possible to move them around into the position that works best for you too. Over time I would recommend adding a stitch or two to secure but thus far - mine are holding strong. I added a couple pins I had lying around the house and plan to add a few more over time. Check my links above to find some super fun options for your sneakers. Seriously, this one is too easy not to DIY.
