In the interest of full disclosure - I'm very attracted to colorful covers. Like I will buy you solely for your cover. However, hearing that I'm drawn to bright and shiny objects probably isn't coming as a huge shock to anyone right now.
I love books that inspire me - whether it's through the imagery or the words. All of these have made me feel inspired or smile or even more: changed my view on something. Some have truly moved me.
