This was such an amazing photo shoot. I loved working with Dawn from @PoetryandPaper - she was so creative and talented. The location was just gorgeous. I felt like I had stepped back into time. My look is inspired by the trending ballet fashion. I would have loved to be a dancer and have every movement filled with grace - since clumsy is more my strong suit I'm going to stick with ballet fashion for the time being. My tulle skirt is only $19.99 at H&M - wish I could link you to it but it's not currently online. It is in stores now. I'm just loving ballerina inspired pieces and sincerely hope this trend will be dancing through the streets for a long time.

This outfit was so cozy. I love layering pieces to create something that is both comfortable but still looks chic. I put one of my favorite warm sweaters on top of a casual t-shirt dress and then piled on the accessories for a little more intrigue. My tights are perfect for adding interest to a simple look and I love that I can get the look of thigh highs without having to constantly tug them up. BTW - how cool is this backdrop?!? It felt like I could walk right into a dream.

Channeling my inner baby with these photos. Can't help but still love Dirty Dancing. It was totally a fantasy to become an amazing dancer with the help of Patrick Swayze. However - I am not what you would call a trained dancer...more of one of those blow up things that flail around to get your attention outside a store. As for the outfit details - I've been living in this super soft sweater from Eliza Plume Boutique. I love the colors of the stripes and it's more tunic length which makes it amazing in my book. It works perfectly with skinny jeans or leggings but it also is so cute with shorts. Love when I don't have to worry about my top riding up on me. My little ballet flats are from Zara but I couldn't find them in stock anymore so I linked to similar pairs above. I'm such a Zara shoe addict.

This is one of my favorite photo shoots to date and it was such a happy accident. We usually have very little in regards to a plan when it comes to photo locations. We had drove around all morning with next to no luck and in a 'throw up your hands' moment, I suggested we just take pics at this closed office park. We were trying to take the photos over on the sidewalk by the office building when we both look across the parking lot and notice this beautiful nature filled opportunity. Thank you Lord! As for the look - when my husband first saw what I was wearing he was like..."isn't that your nightgown?". OK - so that's true - BUT - once he saw the full look he was asking me why I don't wear that outfit more often. It is super comfy so I plan to wear it out! BTW - the nightgown is on sale for only $15 right now and comes in 3 different colors.

I just love the way white and gold look together! It's so pretty for the holiday season. I was inspired by this midi skirt from Target and just built my outfit around it. It's from the kids department. So - yes - I'm wearing a child's skirt...probably the only time I will get to shop in the little girls department. I'm wearing an extra-large and the waistband is elastic. I usually wear a 10 - so this is definitely pretty oversized. They have 2 other pretty midi skirts that I have my eye on too....so don't be surprised if they pop up on the blog soon! PS - Christmas is almost here and I am soooooo excited!! Happy Holidays y'all!!

I love wearing OTK boots this time of year. They are kind of an obsession of mine. I really like the contrast of pairing them with white jeans. Once I knew I wanted to wear those two items together - the rest of the outfit was easy. A neutral color pallet always looks more lux to me - it just feels sophisticated. Add a little pop of color with a scarf and you have an easy fall look.

Once you try this maxi dress on - you'll be as hooked as I am. It's the closest I've ever gotten to the comfort level of PJs outside the house. It's so soft and so comfy + it looks so cute! I love the flowing design and the pockets push it to the level of perfect dress. I'm living in this one all fall and winter. It's so versatile too - you can easily dress it up or down just by adjusting your accessories.

If we're being honest - I've been dying for a rainy day since I bought this umbrella and when the weather wouldn't work with me - I took the umbrella pics even without rain. This is one of my favorite looks for rainy weather - the leggings are warm & comfy - the sweater is super soft - and these boots are so warm. Can't brag on the boots enough! They are the first pair of heeled boots I've ever owned that don't make my feet hurt at all. Like I wore them the entire day running errands and shopping - no pain. There well insulated too so they keep your toes toasty.

Lets just start with this sweater. I love the details - the lace up neckline and the unique sleeves make it more than your usual knit. It's cozy and just the right amount of chunky. I love how it somehow works with so many styles. I wore it with boyfriend jeans & booties for a comfy casual look but then by just switching my shoes to heels - the look became more effortlessly polished.

Always up for a way to look stylish and still feel cozy. This combo is basically an oversized t-shirt paired with my fav cozy sweater. So comfy and just right for the cooler temps here in Atlanta. The top is pretty sheer so I put a lace slip underneath it. I really love the peek-a-boo lace trim it provides.

It's still a little bit warm here even though we should be in full blown fall weather. I love how this sleeveless sweater dress kept me at just the right temp when paired with sweater socks and boots. I'm a little obsessed with sweater socks this year. They may very well be my favorite cool weather accessory. I'm slowly accumulating a pair in every fall color.

I so love this look! It feels distinctly fall but doesn't compromise on style or comfort! It has all my favorite fall colors too - olive, black, gray, burgundy. The cardigan is super cozy and very well made! I love that it has front pockets too. I always need somewhere to stash my random items and my hands when it's cold. The sleeves were a little short on me so I just cuffed them to quarter length. You should always read the sizing carefully when ordering from overseas. They have a tendency to run smaller but the sizing measurements have always proven accurate for me.

It's finally starting to feel more like fall around here and I for one am so excited for sweater season!! Love getting to be cozy and comfy all the time. I also get to wear a whole lot more of my favorite colors - like burgundy, olive, and gray. My sweater is the tie that binds the whole look together! I absolutely adore the back of this sweater - it's so unique and pretty - the $25 price tag is quite nice too. I discovered it on Shoptiques which is chock full of amazing items to choose from. Seriously - you can get lost on this site. Everything is beautiful and has my finger itching to add it to my shopping cart. It's so fun to be able to shop boutiques from all over the world in one place!
