This was such an amazing photo shoot. I loved working with Dawn from @PoetryandPaper - she was so creative and talented. The location was just gorgeous. I felt like I had stepped back into time. My look is inspired by the trending ballet fashion. I would have loved to be a dancer and have every movement filled with grace - since clumsy is more my strong suit I'm going to stick with ballet fashion for the time being. My tulle skirt is only $19.99 at H&M - wish I could link you to it but it's not currently online. It is in stores now. I'm just loving ballerina inspired pieces and sincerely hope this trend will be dancing through the streets for a long time.

This outfit was so cozy. I love layering pieces to create something that is both comfortable but still looks chic. I put one of my favorite warm sweaters on top of a casual t-shirt dress and then piled on the accessories for a little more intrigue. My tights are perfect for adding interest to a simple look and I love that I can get the look of thigh highs without having to constantly tug them up. BTW - how cool is this backdrop?!? It felt like I could walk right into a dream.

Channeling my inner baby with these photos. Can't help but still love Dirty Dancing. It was totally a fantasy to become an amazing dancer with the help of Patrick Swayze. However - I am not what you would call a trained dancer...more of one of those blow up things that flail around to get your attention outside a store. As for the outfit details - I've been living in this super soft sweater from Eliza Plume Boutique. I love the colors of the stripes and it's more tunic length which makes it amazing in my book. It works perfectly with skinny jeans or leggings but it also is so cute with shorts. Love when I don't have to worry about my top riding up on me. My little ballet flats are from Zara but I couldn't find them in stock anymore so I linked to similar pairs above. I'm such a Zara shoe addict.

This is one of my favorite photo shoots to date and it was such a happy accident. We usually have very little in regards to a plan when it comes to photo locations. We had drove around all morning with next to no luck and in a 'throw up your hands' moment, I suggested we just take pics at this closed office park. We were trying to take the photos over on the sidewalk by the office building when we both look across the parking lot and notice this beautiful nature filled opportunity. Thank you Lord! As for the look - when my husband first saw what I was wearing he was like..."isn't that your nightgown?". OK - so that's true - BUT - once he saw the full look he was asking me why I don't wear that outfit more often. It is super comfy so I plan to wear it out! BTW - the nightgown is on sale for only $15 right now and comes in 3 different colors.

I just love the way white and gold look together! It's so pretty for the holiday season. I was inspired by this midi skirt from Target and just built my outfit around it. It's from the kids department. So - yes - I'm wearing a child's skirt...probably the only time I will get to shop in the little girls department. I'm wearing an extra-large and the waistband is elastic. I usually wear a 10 - so this is definitely pretty oversized. They have 2 other pretty midi skirts that I have my eye on too....so don't be surprised if they pop up on the blog soon! PS - Christmas is almost here and I am soooooo excited!! Happy Holidays y'all!!
