Disney Week - Hip Hip Hooray It's Jean Jacket Day!

This is the day that hurricane Matthew officially arrived in Orlando and unfortunately that meant we were basically on lockdown. The whole county was under curfew until 7 am the next morning and they even had Disney World closed. Such a bummer. So we are trapped in a hotel room with 4 kids. Living the dream. Lucky for us they had a few activities going on at the hotel to help them use their limitless energy in good ways. After the rain finally let up I convinced the hubby to help me get a few pics of my Disney look for the day....sadly not actually in the theme park but I was so there in spirit.

This Hip Hip Hooray tee wasn't originally part of my Disney plan but it felt to very fitting for the happiest place on earth! Plus is was super comfy and soft. I love the way it fit. The perfect length and cut for me. You can snag your own at Oliver & Otis (I have a couple more of their adorable tees I can't wait to show you).

Talk about high-end these Chanel inspired Minnie Ears made me feel ultra chic. The attention to detail on them is so amazing. I love the little pearl details on the quilted fabric and the way the ears are bordered in gold chain is perfection. Even the back of these beauties are photo worthy. Maus Couture did not disappoint and totally lives up to the couture in it's name. Seriously - you have to go check out the amazing ears she has created. They are all so insanely gorgeous!

Not gonna lie - this jean jacket has become my baby. It is my labor of love and I do love it so much! I am still pissed that it didn't get to go visit it's true home in the Magic Kingdom. Truthfully it would have been far to hot & humid for it this trip but it will be back for every future visit. Curious where I purchased it? I made it! It was actually pretty easy. I completed it in one evening and 3 episodes of Project Runway. I was super inspired by all the patch covered jackets in the fashion mags lately.
