In theory the vineyards would have been the perfect place for photos but I'm gonna put this one in the fail list. It never occurred to me that the vines would be empty & brown...oops. At least that castle in the background looks pretty fancy. Any slack you can give me on my spinning skills will be appreciated - in my defense the ground was soggy and I had on heels... Anyhow - I was really thrilled with this velvet skirt. The color was so pretty and I really like the pleats. It ended up matching a pair of my heels perfectly. I love velvet so I paired it with a velvet clutch - I just can't seem to get enough of this lux fabric.

Channeling my inner Aubrey in this gorgeous dress from Dezzal. I love the way it sits slightly off-shoulder and creates timeless, elegant vibe. However the unique back makes it so memorable. The quality is excellent. I always get a little nervous ordering from overseas but Dezzal has never sent anything but excellence. I would recommend sizing down on this one. I always order larger (be sure to refer to the measurements on each item) but this time it was a tiny bit too big on me. For your reference - I usually wear an 8/10 and this dress is an extra-large. I would have fit a large better. Regardless, I will still wear this to so many events. It's perfect for company functions and date night. You can never go wrong with a little black dress.

The holidays are rapidly approaching and if you're anything like me - you're already thinking about what you will wear to holiday parties. This is the one time of year for me - with the exception of my birthday (and Vegas) - that I get to go wild and be sparkly and fancy. I get to go completely out of my mom gear and feel glam! So here is one of the looks I'm hoping to don for a holiday bash - thinking New Years at the moment. This sparkling choker is the statement piece of my outfit, it is doing all the work!

This dress was an absolute dream to take pictures in - it was so pretty in the light. I love the color and the price at just $12! Truth be told the fabric quality is not the highest, but it still looks incredible on! I love the wrap style of the dress and I felt it paired perfectly with this chunky cocoon sweater. It makes it perfect for fall and gives it a casual glamour.

 

I love embroidery. I am so drawn to it and this gorgeous dress completely covered embroidery has my heart all a flutter! I am so thrilled with the details and all of the beautiful colors on this dress. It is an absolute show stopper. The statement dress that you can't forget. It's perfect for date night, your Sunday best, or even those family pictures you've been pondering over what to wear in. 

I was new to the world of MARCOBOLOGNA and I am now so obsessed. The prints are fresh and the cuts are oh' so flattering. I love the complimentary mixed prints and the little swing of the half pleated skirt. The colors are dreamy too! This dress is just right for date night. 

It's Friday!! Oh yeah! You know what that means! Time to get out of my mom duds and get my fancy on for Date Night. I love getting to spend some quality time with my main squeeze and put on something a little extra special. This bright printed dress with it's fun cutouts had my name all over it - almost literally (Milly is pretty close to Meli - right?!)

It's Friday - Hooray!!! I love the weekends and this one is extra special because it's a holiday weekend! No measly 2 days - we get a bonus one! I'm going to attempt to bring you date night looks every Friday because in my opinion to key to a happy family is to keep the marriage strong. We make it a point to have a date night every week - even if it's just pizza, wine, & a movie after the kiddos go to bed - it's so important to connect and remember what started your family to begin with. I'm going with this vibrant romper because it is super hot here STILL and it ticks all my boxes: comfy, pockets, prints, sweetheart neckline.
