So probably my favorite photo shoot ever! I had sooooo much fun being super girly and getting to play with so many cute props. I seriously want purple hair now! As far as styling for this shoot - it is all super affordable. I have a men's white undershirt tank on with jewelry I purchased from the Dollar Tree. Even my skirt is only $20 at Target. This is another time I am guilty of shopping in the kids department. I am seriously obsessed with everything the Cat & Jack line comes out with. I'm usually a size 8/10 and I purchased an extra-large. My Kate Spade bag came to me via my VivTote box! I love this amazing subscription tote and all of the accessories that come inside it. You can sign up for your first box here and use the code VTMT50 to get 50% off your first month.

So this is the moment when you learn about the exciting life of a fashion blogger and the pitfalls of being one. To start - my neighbors think I'm nuts. I am constantly leaving the house in outfits that don't match the seasons or the rest of my family. I am frequently standing in the middle of my street posing for pictures that my 11 year old takes - that looks pretty normal, right?!? I really pushed it over the edge with this shoot though. The images that make it appear I'm almost flying away with the balloons - they required me standing on top of a bright yellow barstool at the end of my driveway, hands holding tight to rainbow colored balloons, as I jump repeatedly off the barstool and usually fall on my butt. My husband is at the bottom of the driveway crouched low to capture the illusion of height. Since we live on a hill anyone passing by can't see him at all, they just see my unique brand of crazy. So glamorous....

I just love the way white and gold look together! It's so pretty for the holiday season. I was inspired by this midi skirt from Target and just built my outfit around it. It's from the kids department. So - yes - I'm wearing a child's skirt...probably the only time I will get to shop in the little girls department. I'm wearing an extra-large and the waistband is elastic. I usually wear a 10 - so this is definitely pretty oversized. They have 2 other pretty midi skirts that I have my eye on too....so don't be surprised if they pop up on the blog soon! PS - Christmas is almost here and I am soooooo excited!! Happy Holidays y'all!!

I can't express how much I love this jacket! It's one of the very few DIY's I'm actually proud of. They usually end up half completed and sad stuffed in the back of my closet or simply tossed into my garbage can. This one is actually really simple to do and you can create your own embellished jean jacket in a few hours. It only took me 3 project runway episodes. The hardest part is finding the items to embellish your jacket with - don't worry - I have done this part for you. Details below.

Magic Kingdom here we come! Always my favorite park because it makes me feel like a kid again. I love seeing the excitement in my kids eyes as we walk in the gates. We took the ferry boat over this afternoon. We waited for their dad to finish up at his conference so we got a bit of a late start but at least we all got to come over together!

Day 4 at Disney World and today we ventured into Epcot. The park was extremely crowded - probably due to the Food and Wine Festival. They were even filming an episode of The Chew while we were there. I barely captured any images this day for so many reasons but the main ones being that I was there on my own with the boys for the majority of the time and the other that it rained - SO MUCH - like almost the whole day. The theme of the day for me was The Little Mermaid (possibly my favorite Disney movie ever).  This colorful glittery tank from Glitter Ever After was perfect for my mermaid day! The bright colors popped gorgeously against the black muscle tank. I paired it with black skinny distressed jeans and my black leather superga sneakers. So sorry not to give you a full length picture - my photographer (my 11 year old son) was much more concerned with getting on rides than he was with supplying me with an abundance of photo options. Can't say I blame him!
