Graphic Designer Di Depux says she finds inspiration in Japanese pop culture and I am loving it! Her handmade pieces are quirky and so unique. They always have a creative & fun vibe about them. Her cloud necklace is filled with sparkling confetti that moves about as you wear it. Can't get much more fun than confetti! I love the attention to detail from the polka dot background to the silver glittery trim. I'm also crushing on her Unicorn Head Necklace and her Leopard Lips Necklace. Check out her shop to see which piece calls your name.

A girl can never have too much pink or at least I don't think you can. I love the way the pink pops against the all black of my outfit. I think contrast is sometimes what makes things so interesting. My necklace was handmade by the talented Petite Utile. I love the way it looks like dragonfruit but at the same time has a modern geometric feel to it. It instantly dresses up a simple black sweater or top. It also looks so cute with a plain white button down or for more fun - try mixing it with a color like blue or yellow. I always gravitate towards accessories that are fun and unique. Petite Utile has a shop filled with items that perfectly embody those two words and then some.

This outfit was so cozy. I love layering pieces to create something that is both comfortable but still looks chic. I put one of my favorite warm sweaters on top of a casual t-shirt dress and then piled on the accessories for a little more intrigue. My tights are perfect for adding interest to a simple look and I love that I can get the look of thigh highs without having to constantly tug them up. BTW - how cool is this backdrop?!? It felt like I could walk right into a dream.

This entire outfit was inspired by the necklace. I'm such a fan of statement necklaces - especially that have the perfect blend of fun, unique, and adorably quirky. This ice cream sandwich had my number the minute I saw the colorful sprinkles! When I went to style it the thought was: go big and bright. If you're not much for neon (trying not to pass judgment over here 😉) - you could pair this necklace with pretty much anything. I love it with a simple white button down and boyfriend jeans. Or mix it with a bright sweater and white skirt. Try going out in one head to toe color with the necklace as the focal point. It has so many possibilities. I'm Your Present has about has a statement piece for everyone. Currently I'm coveting the taco necklace and lucky charms bracelet. There truly is something for every personality!

Apologies for only giving you links to similar items!! With the exception of my shoes this entire outfit was purchased pre-owned from Poshmark. I love shopping on there and buy a large chunk of my wardrobe that way. You can save $5 on your first purchase with the code: BDQZZ. I just love the way mixing neons with a classic gingham print gave it a fun, fresh vibe. I can totally see myself wearing something like this to a chic cookout (is that a thing?) or even just out to brunch with the ladies. Try taking any of the classic prints in your closet and adding a pop of fluorescent color to make the look feel brand new.

│NECKLACE: ℅ ELFI HANDMADE│TOP: TARGET

I'm a sugar queen. I can't get enough and am so attracted to anything with sprinkles #yaasplease! The items in Elfi Handmade's shop are all so cute and look seriously delicious. I would wear everything she created. I love accessories that have a hint of quirkiness and at least this is one donut that won't go straight to my waistline. Her items are so well made too! She really pays attention to every last, little detail. The chain has these tiny beads throughout that give it a just the right amount of daintiness. Check out her shop here and find out which decadent piece will be your favorite (I have my eye on the donut ring now - there is a pink one with sprinkles!!! My ultimate donut kryptonite).

I don't know what it is about railroad tracks but they always unlock a little wanderlust in my soul. I have this little voice that wants me to jump on the train and explore the world. When my boys get older I hope to get to travel all over the globe. As for this dress - it checks all my boxes: comfy, universally flattering, pockets, light, and gray (totally my favorite color to wear). Did I mention it's called the Millie Dress - the spelling is a little off but it feels like fate to me. This outfit just fit together so easily because of this dress. You could literally pair it with pretty much anything and it would make the outfit super cute. It has a permanent home in my closet!

I pretty much live in Target, either they need to start charging me rent or start sending me checks for all the time I spend talking about them. Even when I go there two days in a row I can always find something new I simply must have. I have zero Target will power. This burgundy dress had me from first glance solely based upon the color but I love the unique cut of the dress. It's pretty kind in the mid-section and for that I say "Thank-you"! It paired so nice with the mirrored earrings from their baublebar collection. I usually put burgundy with gold but I'm really feeling the silver combo - change is good y'all.

This look totally brought me back to high school...maybe middle school...but I just love this little floral jumper. This is such a comfortable, easy outfit to wear. I can actually still chase my boys around in this outfit and still look cute. I'm really a fan of the front pockets too! Pockets are an easy win for me. Even better - the bodysuit and jumper only cost $40 total. I love a good deal even more than pockets and that's saying a lot!

So many things about this outfit I love - the hippie vibe being a big one. I love the layered ruffle feel of the top the Tinley Top. It's so flattering with it's subtle swing silhouette. It looks super cute paired with shorts and also white skinny jeans. Then there is this amazing Banana Leaf clutch created custom from Little Brick House. You actually get to pick your leather! I of course had to go with rose gold because that shade of metallic is utterly irresistible to me. This clutch is so well made and roomy. I can get all my goodies stored inside and I am the worst about taking along way more than the standard necessities. The inner lining is super cute too! All of the amazing designs from Little Brick House are really stylish and unique. I love that by choosing your leather color it becomes so custom to you. Unique is always better in my book. At only $30-40 (depends on your leather choice)  - it really is unbeatable.

So probably my favorite photo shoot ever! I had sooooo much fun being super girly and getting to play with so many cute props. I seriously want purple hair now! As far as styling for this shoot - it is all super affordable. I have a men's white undershirt tank on with jewelry I purchased from the Dollar Tree. Even my skirt is only $20 at Target. This is another time I am guilty of shopping in the kids department. I am seriously obsessed with everything the Cat & Jack line comes out with. I'm usually a size 8/10 and I purchased an extra-large. My Kate Spade bag came to me via my VivTote box! I love this amazing subscription tote and all of the accessories that come inside it. I'm a major coke drinker...I love it so much! When we stumbled upon this retro coke machine it felt like fate (even with the evil Pepsi paired beside it)! This outfit is so simple - just a black sweater and jeans but the accessories do all the work. These shoes are my holy grail of Zara finds. I've been searching Poshmark and eBay for years looking for them and finally found them earlier this month! Excited would be an understatement for my reaction when they arrived at my front door. I linked a similar option above - as these are super hard to find!!

On a side note if you've never hear of VivTote I have nothing but praise to sing for it! They have 3 different monthly subscription options so there is something for everyone. I currently get one small handbag and two accessories at a time. You pay a flat monthly fee and then you get to have a rotating library of amazing accessories. Once you're ready for something new - you mail it back in the pre-paid envelope and just wait for your next delivery of gorgeous goodies. I'm hooked. The hard part is letting go of the pretty items. This Kate Spade bag is going to be a tough one but you can always purchase at a discounted rate if you find you can't bare to part with something you receive! Let's start with happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Love a holiday that gives me an excuse to eat sweets and get jewelry. This year we are staying in because it's pretty much impossible to find a babysitter on this holiday. So pizza, sweats, cuddling, and movies - it's go time! Pretty much my favorite way to spend an evening anyhow! SO - let's talk about this cupcake ring (honestly everything from SparkleBomb is amazing!). I'm obsessed with it! It's such a fun statement piece to add to any outfit but it pairs perfectly with my sprinkle covered tee. Full disclosure - it's a kids tee but I just love it sooooo much! I don't wanna grow up until they start making fun clothing in my size. I purchased an extra-large and I'm usually an 8 for size reference.

I'm a huge fan of Baublebar so when I found out that they were introducing an exclusive line at Target it was like the stars were aligning...ok I might be exaggerating a bit. But, you get the idea! This girl is excited. They have so many amazing options to choose from and the prices are very nice on my wallet. Seriously - you need to give the sugarfix collection a look. As for the rest of my outfit - I am obsessed with this striped top. It's super comfy and works with pretty much all the pants in my closet. I "might" have worn it for the last three days straight. My shoes and pants are old so I tried to match similar options for you. Really any color jogger with a bright pump would work perfectly.

In theory the vineyards would have been the perfect place for photos but I'm gonna put this one in the fail list. It never occurred to me that the vines would be empty & brown...oops. At least that castle in the background looks pretty fancy. Any slack you can give me on my spinning skills will be appreciated - in my defense the ground was soggy and I had on heels... Anyhow - I was really thrilled with this velvet skirt. The color was so pretty and I really like the pleats. It ended up matching a pair of my heels perfectly. I love velvet so I paired it with a velvet clutch - I just can't seem to get enough of this lux fabric.

This is one of my favorite photo shoots to date and it was such a happy accident. We usually have very little in regards to a plan when it comes to photo locations. We had drove around all morning with next to no luck and in a 'throw up your hands' moment, I suggested we just take pics at this closed office park. We were trying to take the photos over on the sidewalk by the office building when we both look across the parking lot and notice this beautiful nature filled opportunity. Thank you Lord! As for the look - when my husband first saw what I was wearing he was like..."isn't that your nightgown?". OK - so that's true - BUT - once he saw the full look he was asking me why I don't wear that outfit more often. It is super comfy so I plan to wear it out! BTW - the nightgown is on sale for only $15 right now and comes in 3 different colors.

Apologies my friends for showing so many items that are no longer available! I snagged this fun skirt/suspender combo from Poshmark for only $12 and the boots on there as well for just $22. Seriously - you absolutely cannot beat the savings from shopping pre-owned (PS: if you are new to the app use my code: BDQZZ to get $5 for your first purchase)! My white top is still at Old Navy for only $5 if you can find it in stores, unfortunately, it's sold out online. You can snag my choker for only $2 though! I can't stop finding ways to wear that choker and have certainly gotten my $2 worth. Our weekend went by in a whirlwind and I can't believe it's already Monday! Why is it that the weekdays crawl by and the weekend seems to be gone in the blink of an eye?!?

TRENCH TOP: ℅ ZAFUL  │  CHOKER: ℅ ZAFUL ($2)  │  SWEATER: TARGET
LEGGINGS: ℅ STELLA B  │  BOOTS: ℅ ANGELINA SHOETIQUE

You can find me in leggings pretty often. They are so comfy! I can't seem to resist throwing them on when I'm rushed in the morning (which is pretty much every morning). I really love the leather look leggings because they give your outfit a chic feel and a lot less dressed in the dark! I have certainly worn these leggings on repeat! I would so recommend this choker too - at only $2 - it's a piece that makes a statement for practically nothing. As for the trench jacket: truthfully this fell pretty short in my opinion. The fabric is extremely thin. It provides no warmth or structure. I can see it for a layering piece but if you have more money in your budget - invest in something nicer. A trench is a classic staple and you will get use out of it for so many years. This one quite frankly - clearly shows it's cheap price tag.

When you have the right statement piece of jewelry you don't need to do much else. This necklace from Zuriperle is a show stopping piece. All of her jewelry is handmade in the United States. The quality is top notch and the designs are anything but run of the mill. I love the vibrant colors and unique cut of this necklace. It really pops next to these dark fall colors. I also think it would be gorgeous with all white in the summer! Take a second to visit Zuriperle and discover all of the uniquely beautiful jewelry this incredible designer has to offer!

Gray is my go-to color because it goes with everything! I love how you can take a cozy thermal and pair it with stand out pieces like leather moto pants and metallic oxfords to create a statement look. The best part? It's actually comfortable and warm - well with the exception of my ankles.
